July 4th festivities are nearly here, and the City of Dunedin is ready to celebrate in style! After a year with minimal events, we’re excited to share all of the great 4th of July events that the City is planning, including fireworks and concerts!

Café Alfresco is the perfect spot to watch the parades roll by, or to fuel up before the big show! Stop in for a meal or a snack, or order ahead via this link.

Let Freedom Ride

WHEN: July 3, 2021 from 10 AM – 12 PM

WHERE: All over downtown Dunedin!

WHAT: Sport your patriotic colors as we fill the streets, sidewalks, and trails of Dunedin with Red, White, and Blue! This event is occurring all over the city, and is a great opportunity to show pride in your country and community!

With this event taking place on the Pinellas Trail, Café Alfresco’s climate-controlled patio offers the best box seats in the house.

Patriotic Golf Cart Parade

WHEN: July 3, 2021 from 3 PM – 7 PM

WHERE: Staging in the VFW parking lot (view the parade route)

WHAT: Hosted by Dunedin Goes Carting, the 2021 Independence Day Golf Cart Parade is the perfect kickoff to the “Hometown USA” weekend! Staging begins at 3 PM, get there early to enjoy a performance by Progressive Arts. Then stick around for the parade at 5:30 PM!

Looking for a quick bite in town? Order to-go from Café Alfresco and enjoy your meal along the parade route.

Patriotic Band Performance

WHAT: Join the Pinellas County Players for a live performance of patriotic music! Directed by Derek Currier, this ensemble of intermediate adult musicians is excited to celebrate independence day in the community!

Hometown USA Fireworks & Concert

WHEN: July 3, 2021 at 7 PM

WHERE: TD Ballpark, 373 Douglas Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698

WHAT: The “Hometown USA” weekend culminates in a firework display and concert at TD Ballpark. Presented by the City of Dunedin, this event features music by the Bay Kings Band, a seven-piece ensemble of vocalists performing high-energy live music. Tickets are not required but seating is limited; gates open at 7 PM with the fireworks show slated to begin at 9 PM (weather permitting).

July Fourth Rolling Parade

WHERE: All over downtown Dunedin!

WHAT: The City of Dunedin and the Dunedin Fire Department are teaming up with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office to bring this awesome rolling parade to downtown Dunedin. Order ahead from Café Alfresco and picnic along the parade route this 4th of July!
